Company History

Trakware Systems was founded in 1995. Through the initial product development, our offices have been located within an architectural woodwork and manufacturing company. This cohabitation has allowed us to develop the software with instant and real-time feedback on the features, operation, and usability of TRAKware.

For our initial product launch in late 1998 we released two products focused around real-time labor collection in a project-manufacturing environment:

• officeTRAK - a feature full application for front office users of a manufacturing facility (officeTRAK has since been enhanced and renamed to projectTRAK).

• touchTRAK - a unique, easy to use application for the production floor which allows the people doing the work to have direct and real-time input into the Manufacturing, Planning, and Control system.

Since the initial product release we have increased the breadth and depth of the product into a full suite of applications.

In early 2000 Trakware Systems added a customer service team with a broad range of skills and industry experience. Using the Internet or modem access our team can fully support you and your installation. You have direct access to the people who know the software and project-based manufacturing operations.

Today TRAKware is a full function Manufacturing, Planning, and Control solution for project-based manufacturers. Our strategic differentiation is our knowledge of project-based industries coupled with our parametric estimating and product configuration.
