Estimating

bidTRAK designer is a stand alone estimating application that combines all the functionality found in TRAKware's bidTRAK application and designer module.

TRAKware's estimating is extremely versatile and flexible. You can estimate using your existing estimating paradigm (for example: a gross take off using lineal measurements) or you can estimate at a component level (by unit, box, cabinet, etc.) - the choice is yours.

Estimating can be as fine or course as required.

If a quick estimate is required all you need to do is define the deliverable that you are providing to the customer and set a price and send the quote.
There is no need to pre-configure products in the catalog if they are "one-of' never to be quoted again deliverables.
bidTRAK designer supports estimating using a base metric such as lineal feet.
Or, if you require the confidence that your estimate is accurate to the component level you can use pre configured catalog products as deliverables or you can build new deliverables based on catalog products and parts.

As a stand alone application bidTRAK designer sets the standard for a quick, effective, and accurate estimating application.

The product and labor catalogs for bidTRAK designer can be imported from a main database. This facilitates having a single main database and using bidTRAK designer for estimators that may not be connected to a full TRAKware system all of the time. Estimates completed with the stand alone bidTRAK designer can be moved back to the main system through an export/import facility.
